From trade idea to real numbers.
CrunchMyTrade combines price risk, position sizing, brokerage or fees, and currency conversion in one calculation.
1. Enter the trade setup
Choose Stocks, Forex or Crypto Spot, then enter the planned entry price, stop loss and profit target. For Stocks and Forex, select Buy/Long or Sell/Short.
Gross risk and reward
Gross figures use only the distance between the entry, stop and target. They do not include brokerage, exchange fees, commission, spread or other costs.
2. Choose the position size
- I know my quantity: enter shares, lots or coin quantity directly.
- Size by risk: enter the account balance and acceptable risk percentage or amount. The calculator works backwards to estimate the position size.
- Invest a fixed amount: for Stocks and Crypto, enter the money available. Entry fees and currency conversion are included when estimating quantity.
Stock quantities are rounded down to whole shares unless fractional shares are enabled. Crypto is calculated fractionally. Forex position size is displayed in lots and underlying units.
3. Add brokerage and fees
Costs are applied separately to the target and stop outcomes because percentage-based exit charges can differ with the exit price. Forex calculations can also include commission, spread, swap estimates and other costs.
Net figures are the more realistic planning result: projected gross outcome minus applicable brokerage and fees.
4. Convert to your currency
Select your base currency and trading currency. CrunchMyTrade retrieves the latest available reference rate when possible. The rate remains editable so you can enter a broker rate or your own conservative estimate.
Reference exchange rates are not guaranteed execution rates. Currency movements between entry and exit can change the final result.
